Hi I’m Rob Powell I have been teaching driving since 1973, my dad Chas Powell started the driving school when he left the Police in 1954 when he was using cars like the one pictured above.

Over the past 50 years our patient relaxed and down to earth attitude has helped countless new drivers to learn the valuable skills to enable them to pass their driving test and become safe competent drivers.

We are members of the Driving Schools Association and are Pass Plus Registered with the Driving Standard Agency.

We offer lessons for the complete beginner right up to the advanced driving test and we also provide refresher and  motorway tuition.
